Jhai Foundation is working to bring two initiatives at huge scale to many of the poorest people on Earth:
- integrated development using information and communicationtechnologies as well-tested tools in health, education and livelihood (integrated ICT4D), and
- state-of-the-art telemedicine that includes not only digitalized, user-friendlyrecords, vitals testing, ekg/ecg and doctor consults, but also blood testing for some 400+diseases, generic drug provision in certain places, and fee generation for local providers – all at low cost.
Our vision is that in 10 years time 90% of rural villages and slums in the world will useICT4D tools for their own sustainable programs that lead to better health, education and livelihood for their communities.
